Events
The Ivor Gurney Society hold an annual spring weekend, and occasionally other events. Recent events have included a tour of the Flanders battlefields, retracing some of Gurney’s steps whilst serving with the 2/5 Gloucester Battalion in Flanders, 1916-17, and events in Gloucester Cathedral and Churchdown, on the slopes of Chosen Hill. Other important Gurney events organised by bodies other than the society will also be listed here.
